A. T. Thomas Jewelers was established in 1977 by Alfred Theodore Thomas in the downtown area of Lincoln. In 1979 a second store was opened at East Park Plaza Mall. The two stores were consolidated into one location at East Park Plaza in 1987. As the business expanded a larger showroom was built at East Park Plaza in 1996.
